Doug Salzer

 
Mr. Salzer has been practicing in the field of taxation since 1985; first as a Revenue Agent for five years with the Internal Revenue Service, and thereafter, as an attorney in the State of Louisiana.  Mr. Salzer practices in the areas of federal, state and local taxation and business transactions.  He has handled a wide variety of tax matters for individuals and for-profit and non-profit business entities.  Mr. Salzer assists clients in connection with federal, state and parish tax audits, tax collection matters, tax planning strategies, administrative appeals and tax litigation involving various areas of federal and Louisiana taxation.  Mr. Salzer also handles criminal tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service. 

 Mr. Salzer has been a member of Ajubita, Leftwich & Salzer, L.L.C. since July, 1991.  Mr. Salzer has a B.S. degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University, a J.D. degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida. 

Mr. Salzer is licensed to practice in the State of Louisiana and is a Board Certified Tax Law Specialist.  He has also been admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana.
